The gophers lost today against Colorado College 1-0, aftr coming of a 3-1 win last night. Gophers power play wasnt showing its 5th in a nation. We couldnt get the puck in the net. So who nows where we will drop from number 2 and losing to a 5th place team.

hyland hills is up and spinning. With not alot of snow to work with, they had to blow most of it. nothing like skking on fake snow. But hopefully some more snow storms shall come and cover the ground the that white powder. it wont help that it is spouse to rain this weekend then get very cold the next week.

The edina hornets lost a very big game saturday. The boys hokcey was ranked number 1 coming it to saturday nights game. They were facing HIll Murray Pioneers ranked 2. this wasnt only a big game beacue it was 1 and 2 playing but beacuse edina lost to hill last year in the state tourney. Our one goal was scored by Cole Kretzmen a junior. But this should bring us down cause we have a long road ahead of us to state..edina for state 2009

THe wild lost to Colorado on monday with a score of 6-5. They couldn't get there game going, they got most of there goals on power plays. They couldnt pass, they had to many turn overs that turned into goals. Also Backstram was tired and need a rest he did not play like he usually does. Hopefully they will have better luck the the Blues.

One of my favorite skier John Spriggs rider from a family friends ski shop buzz's boards in Vail colorado, has switch from the greatest skis ever Rossignol to Fisher skis. I guess you just got to go where the best offer sends you. Although i still respect the bro, he can go slay on fisher now.

In freeskier there was an article that i could relate to. It was about Ski Poll stealers. I have gotten my polls stolen at least twice. I think it is funny that someone takes the time to swipe a pair of old polls. It dosnt matter where u are there is a possibility that you could get your polls stolen.

The hockey buzz is all about the MN Wild. They have just won 2 games in a row. One of the wins was against the Pittsburgh Penguins, the PPs (Pittsburgh Penguins) are coming off a big win. The PPs just beat the Red Wings, the PPs beat the Red wings in a over time victory after fighting back from 5-2. Hopefully the wild keep up there good playing and keep winning.

A NEW issue of Freeskier is out. They have a list of the top pros this year. A fw of them are tanner hall, simon dumont, sammy carlson, john spriggs plus alot more. I would say the list is pretty dead on in my eyes. A few of my favorite skiers made the list which make me happy to see they are staying on top.

In the nhl there are many players that are ahving slow starts. The one that sticks out the most is Alexande Ovckein. He was top 3 scorers last season. Now he hasnt scored a goal in over a mounth. Is it that he is having a slow start, or can he not come back from such a good season and fill everyones expectations.

The Gopher hockey won agin last night playing NHU ranked 5th. The Gopher s are ranked number 4, evern tho we tied on friday night playing NHU we are still undefeated. It was a pretty close game last night until the third period gopher brought it home with the BIG W. We are stilla very young team with many great well rounded minnesota hockey player.Coach Lucia like taking kids from minnesota so if u ever see a roster u nwont see to many out of towners. go gophers

Well i was on my computer surfing the web agin and read/saw many articles about the election. Right now Obama is leading the polls. Although he is leading dosnt mean that it will be an all out blow out. It is to be said the the youth will decide this outcome. Which could be the case, but no matter what they say every vote counts. Get out to your polling station and vote (if you are 18). Let the best men or men and women win.

 

Another wild update. So the wild have a game tonight against the dallas stars. Marion gaborik will not play tonight. This is his 6th straight game out. It isnt hurting us to bad but i hope he gets back on the ice before he gets shipped away to another club.

Last night i was surfing the web. On espn.com i read another article about the wild. After a 4-3 ot defeat against the Buffalo Sabers. Our young team blew the 3-1 lead, which now they are 6-1. Which is not very bad but i believe that our stats will slowly drop. I hope this dosnt happen but we will have to keep cheering the Wild to the Stanley cup.

Like every other day i start it off with a nice shower a big breakfast and then a nice reading sesh.

This morning i read espn.com and how Marion Gaborik might be getting traded. As of where he is going to end up is unknown. If this was going to go down that would be 7 super stars from the wild to be gone this season. IT would not hurt us to bad, we are 4-0 with Gaborik missing 2 games beacuse of injure.

I learned that there are many things that can make a skier a hero. These hero are innovators, Jon olson has created a trick know as the Kangaro flip. They are true heros to some people. What they do is an art to be able to flip and spin grab. 

Another article i was reading in yearbook was about alexander Ovechkin. HE is the highest paid sniper in the NHL, and he is only 23. He is third in all time goals scored behind some great players. He is not like T.O and randy moss(NFl players) he is down to earth and a nice guy. He isnt a showboat, he has some class. He is one of my favorite players and i will like to see him dangle this year. 

Over the weekend i was reading a mag call yearbook about hockey. It had an article was about the wild. It talked about how we got rid of some of our superstars. NOt just some but 6 of them, such a brian Rolston. Even with dropping those 6 players they said that we still have a shot at making the play offs agin. Getting to they play offs wont be easy for us, we are in the roughest division. Last years season showed how hard it was to claim our division title. We didn't get the title tell the last home game of our season. I hope to see the wild do well this year.

i was just reading autoweek the other day. In autoweek i was readind an article about the new audi s4. The new s4 has a newer better body style. I dint not like last years s4. The s4 i really like was the 2005. It had a beefier sporty look which made it stand about from the other s4s. That is what i would like to be driving in. The new s4 has 420 horse power which is pretty quick in getting up and out, and on that note i am gonna leave.

Hey, alright so i just got a new freeskier this week which i think is pretty sweet. But anyways i was just flippin' through it looking at some of the gear. There is some pretty stezzy stuff this year i want it all, but that wont happen. Some stuff that caught my eye was the spyder fly suit. Also there was an article on the skis that i will be getting hooked up with for the 08/09 season. It talk about the new rocker system that creates a more floater fun powder ski for when i am hitting up some of those tree runs when i am out west. But it is also a perfect park ski for when i am shredding the little garbage dumb, aka hyland hills. This is a ski i am looking forward to be ridding on. One thing that i have also noticed is how much salomon is in the mag. This drops my liking for freeskier a little bit. Only beacuse of how all the cocky kids ski on them and chirp about how nice they are when really they are crap compared to the other skis like rossi. Thats all i have to say and i am looking forward to a my 08/09 season

NUmber one Ski resort

I just read an article in Freeskier magazine about the number one ski resort in North America. The magazine picked Whistler, Blackcomb  which is in British Columbia. They picked it because it has 8,171 acres of ski able terrain. Along with all of this terrain there is skiing for everyone. There are baby terrain parks and large parks. Among all this there will be a tram completed in december that goes from peak to peak breaking many world records. I have only skied there in the summer so i can not say if i would agree with it being number one but from what i have seen and herd i believe that is should deserve a spot in the top 5.

I just read a review for the video game NHL 09.  I  learned  that this could be one of the best NHL games to ever come out. In this game there are 300 new ways to fall, making the game look a lot smother.

There are many adjectives that describe me. I pick one that I think describes me the best, which is hardworking.  I am hardworking when it comes to school I work on getting home work done and studying for tests also I try to do the best I can. I am also hardworking when I am working for my dad in a juice factory, I try and help out as much as I can. Even when I am at my house I am hardworking by helping my parents with stuff around the house. Last thing I work hard at is skiing, I practice and try to get better. Those are just a few examples that I work hard at.

 

A book i like

My favorite book that i have read was tweaked. Tweak is a biographey about a man that has a drug addiction to Meth and heroin. This book keeps you atached at all times and you never know what will happen next. It also shows the difficulty of how hard it is to kick a drug addiction. Tweaked also shows what drugs can do to your life and how it affects family and friends around you.
