This morning i read espn.com and how Marion Gaborik might be getting traded. As of where he is going to end up is unknown. If this was going to go down that would be 7 super stars from the wild to be gone this season. IT would not hurt us to bad, we are 4-0 with Gaborik missing 2 games beacuse of injure.

Hi Charlie,
Thanks for keeping me up to date about the wild. I really want to get into MN hockey more. I grew up in WI and although I had a few friends who played hockey, there isn't as big of a hockey culture in Wisconsin as Minnesota. It would be cool if you had a post that focused on 10 things a Minnesotan should know about hockey...or something to that extent. I could definitely benefit from that!

Even though Marian is a goal scorer we are doing just fine without him. He was a good player but I don't think that he realizes that no matter where he goes, he won't find a fan base like this. The team won't suffer at all if they get rid of Gaborik because they now have Mietenen, Mikko is filling in his skates, and Backstrom practiced for his shootouts in the off season. Mikko is a great captain for the wild and people are not worried about losing Gaborik.
i agree we wont be hurt if marion leaves i want him to go, it is time for him to leave and i would rather get fresh young kids that wont be out for 6 games do to an injury.
I'm pretty sure that Marian Gaborik just stubbed his toe on his own hockey stick. The new injury rule is stupid. They should have to divulge more information than "Lower Body Injury". I understand if someone has a broken leg and they're out for several games. But I think that the new rule lets less health concerned "injuries" slide.
